Our Connecting Classrooms partnership with Kindfund Hope Primary School in Kenya continues to go from strength to strength.
Our P4 + P5 pupils, led by Mrs Spence, are taking the lead with this! This week the pupils from both schools have been replying to each other's letters.
Amongst other topics, it looks at the work of UNICEF, the rights of the child and the value of education. It also involves a teacher exchange programme (funded by the British Council) and Mrs Spence ended up teaching (during her summer holidays!) last July in Kindfund Hope PS in remote North Kenya.
Thanks to @BritishCouncil for funding this programme - helping our pupils understand the big issues that shape our world and equipping them with the knowledge, skills and attitudes they need to make a positive contribution.
