Today our P4-P7 pupils took part in fantastic Action Mental 'Healthy Me' workshops. Action Mental Health have also developed a bitesize online session aimed at parents and carers which will be held this Thursday evening. This session will be via Zoom, at 7pm and it will last approximately 45 minutes. We will be taking part in this alongside our friends, parents and carers from Carniny Primary School. This session aims to:
- Raise awareness and increase knowledge and understanding of positive Mental & Emotional Health and Well-Being
- Identify factors that can cause mental ill-health
- Raise awareness of signs and symptoms of mental ill health
- Promote self-care/resilience techniques inc tips on how to deal with challenging behaviours
- Provide signposting information to support organisations (locally & regionally)
